We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Asahi Kasei Plastics North America where our products are used in a wide array of molding applications including automotive, consumer, electronics, furniture, and industrial parts and they provide excellent solutions for pressure vessels.

Job Description:

Job Tasks:

  • Operates site equipment (plant, warehouse, analytical laboratory)
  • Perform computer functions in plant, office, lab equipment
  • Perform analytical testing of raw material and/or finished product
  • Create, follow procedures, work instructions, EH&S and quality standards
  • Perform maintenance for equipment

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree is preferred
  • High School degree with minimum 2 years' experience in industrial environment is acceptable
  • Additional industrial certifications (i.e. welding, electrical, safety) is an advantage
  • Must be able to be certified for forklift driving. (Company certifies on-the-job).

Required Skills:

Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel:

  • Work in 24/7 continuous operations, on 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
