As a Temporary Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our store team during peak sales periods, delivering outstanding customer service while engaging with guests about their gaming needs. Your commitment to customer satisfaction and product knowledge will contribute to our mission of providing the best gaming merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a Unique Customer Experience: Greet every guest promptly, assist with video gaming inquiries, recommend products, and express gratitude for their visit.
  • Support Sales Initiatives: Actively participate in store sales efforts and maintain a welcoming shopping environment throughout the holiday season.
  • Maintain Store Standards: Work with the team to keep the store clean, organized, and well-merchandised, ensuring all areas meet company guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor, keeping products well-presented and accessible.
  • Customer Relation Management: Address guest questions and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when needed.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Follow GameStop's policies on attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities with professionalism.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail or guest service experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Personable and friendly demeanor with strong guest service skills.
  • Capable of physical tasks including standing, lifting up to 30 lbs., and moving throughout the store for extended periods.
  • Self-motivated and driven to meet performance expectations.
