Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting surgeons during procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room with precision
- Maintaining sterile conditions and adhering strictly to infection control standards
- Efficiently passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
- Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after operations
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring operational readiness for all procedures
- Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff for exceptional patient care
- Maintaining thorough surgical counts and documentation throughout procedures
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is essential
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is a must
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain it within 90 days post-hire)
- In-depth understanding of surgical instrumentation and procedures spanning multiple specialties
