SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for performance of all electrocardiography, dynamic-electrocardiography, signal averaged electrocardiography and exercise tolerance procedures to include calculation of data and the recognition of potential life threatening cardiac irregularities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High school diploma or equivalency required.

• Three (3) months of related experience required.

• Eligible for Certified Cardiology Technician exam with Active Certification Status strongly encouraged within two (2) years from employment date.

• BLS certification (CPR) required within six (6) months from employment date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduation from a recognized program in non-invasive technology preferred.
