I’m representing a well-established civil engineering and consulting firm that provides comprehensive site development, utilities, transportation, and environmental services. They are seeking a talented Land Development Project Manager (PE) to lead and oversee land development projects from concept through construction completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction coordination.
- Oversee site grading, roadway and utility design, stormwater management, and erosion control plans.
- Lead project teams and coordinate with municipalities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, proposals, and scopes of work.
- Review technical plans and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Participate in business development activities, including responding to RFPs and contributing to proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
- 5+ years of experience in land development design and project management.
- Strong background in site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, and permitting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with stormwater modeling tools.
- Proven ability to lead project teams, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong client-service mindset.
