Beermann LLP is looking for a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team. This role requires someone who can confidently manage discovery, prepare pleadings, and organize financial records with accuracy and efficiency. Candidates must bring at least three (3) years of paralegal experience, including a minimum of one (1) year dedicated to Family Law. Our paralegals work closely with attorneys, clients, and court staff, so professionalism, clear communication, and strong organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file basic pleadings (Petition for Dissolution of Marriage, Petition for Temporary Support, Motion to Compel). • Draft detailed SCR 201(k) letters based on production index review. • Organize, prepare, and finalize exhibits for trial. • Analyze asset/liability documents (bank accounts, brokerage/retirement accounts, tax returns, credit card statements) to compile income summaries and balance sheets. • Draft and respond to all discovery requests, i.e., Request for Production of Documents, Matrimonial Interrogatories, and Witness Disclosures. • Prepare and file basic pleadings (Petition for Dissolution of Marriage, Petition for Temporary Support, Motion to Compel). • Analyze asset/liability documents (bank accounts, brokerage/retirement accounts, tax returns, credit card statements) to compile income summaries and balance sheets. • Utilize Family Law software to prepare financial affidavits and tax calculations. • Draft detailed SCR 201(k) letters based on production index review. • Prepare exhibits, exhibit lists, and trial binders. Qualifications: • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction. • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail under deadlines. • At least 3 years of paralegal experience, with 1+ year in Family Law required. • Strong knowledge of discovery and trial preparation processes. • Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, with at least 1 year in Family Law required. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency. • Strong proofreading and document review skills. Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly

Compensation:
