Job Description
Law Offices of Rosalba Pina, P.C. is seeking a Bilingual Family Immigration Law Paralegal to become a part of our team You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, applications, petitions, letters and affidavits of support.
- Coordinate filing of applications and petitions.
- Translation of foreign documents and equivalency evaluations of foreign degrees.
- Record and store client information
- Organize and maintain client files.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure responses to deadlines are filed in timely manner.
- Communicate with clients to gather proper documentation and relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year of previous experience as a family immigration law paralegal
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- College degree or job related experience
