Our client, a top-tier management consulting company, has partnered with a private equity client that is undergoing a key operational transformation - transitioning their growth equity funds from internally managed accounting to a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) model. They're seeking a hands-on Fund Accounting Project Manager to lead and support this conversion effort, ensuring seamless transition, documentation, and process optimization.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Lead or support the TPA conversion project for growth equity funds
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate timelines, handoffs, and deliverables
• Work closely with the TPA provider, documenting requirements, testing data flows, and validating outputs
• Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow documentation
• Oversee or support fund accounting processes during and post-transition to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Use SEI and Geneva Fund Accounting Systems to assist in data validation, reporting, and reconciliation
• Support change management efforts and operational risk mitigation
• 6-10 years of experience in fund accounting, middle/back office operations, or project management within financial services or private equity
• Hands-on experience withTPAconversions - ideally in a private equity or alternative investments context
• Familiarity with SEI and Geneva Fund Accounting platforms
• Strong understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations, and reporting requirements
• Proven ability to document and streamline processes: SOPs, handoffs, RACI, process flows
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with hybrid work: must commute to Stamford, CT three days per week
