What You'll Do
  • Lead HVAC installation crews on commercial construction projects
  • Install and replace HVAC systems, ductwork, and related components
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to VanderHyde quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently
  • Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and internal teams
  • Maintain safe, organized, and compliant job sites
  • Mentor and guide apprentices and installers to strengthen the team
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of HVAC installation experience (foreman or lead installer experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and construction best practices
  • Ability to read blueprints, manage timelines, and oversee multiple aspects of job progress
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • EPA Universal or Type II Certification
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work from heights or tight spaces
  • Must provide your own basic hand tools
