Based in Wixom, Michigan, this full-service general contractor and design-build firm delivers industrial, commercial, and multi-family projects with a strong focus on light-industrial and steel or pre-engineered metal buildings. They provide turnkey services from preconstruction and budgeting through full project management and construction. Job Description

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and safety standards
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, crews, and deliveries
  • Maintain daily logs, track progress, and communicate updates to project managers
  • Review schedules, address field issues, and adjust workflow to keep the project on track
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Manage quality control, resolve conflicts, and ensure the jobsite stays organized and productive

The Successful Applicant

Profile of a Successful Candidate:
  • 3-8+ years of field experience in commercial or light-industrial construction, ideally with ground-up and steel/pre-engineered metal building projects
  • Proven ability to run day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain schedules
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety standards, and quality control
  • Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with project managers, owners, and trades
  • A track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high workmanship standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage fast-paced, multi-phase projects
  • A focus on professionalism, accountability, and building strong relationships on and off the jobsite
