The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:

  • Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science
  • 1+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory setting, with a focus on electroplating or surface finishing
  • Paying $28 - $32.41 per hour; depending on experience
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Prepare chemical solutions and maintain plating baths for electroplating operations
  • Operate and maintain electroplating equipment including tanks, rectifiers, and agitation systems
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, and conductivity meters
  • Perform routine and specialized tests to monitor plating thickness, adhesion, and surface finishing properties
  • Analyze chemical concentrations and adjust bath compositions to maintain optimal plating conditions
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science
  • 1+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory setting, with a focus on electroplating or surface finishing
