Reports To: Plant Foreman

Job Summary: The Portable Aggregate Crushing Plant 988 Wheel Loader Operator is responsible for operating the 988 Wheel Loader to support the crushing plant operations. This role includes performing maintenance, lubrication, housekeeping, record keeping, and ensuring the effective operation of the mobile equipment as well as the crushing plant. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and capable of working in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate 988 Wheel Loader: Safely and efficiently operate the 988 Wheel Loader to transport materials and support crushing plant operations.
  • Plant Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on mobile equipment and the crushing plant, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Lubrication: Ensure all mobile equipment and plant machinery are properly lubricated to maintain optimal performance.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the loader and surrounding plant areas.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document equipment usage, maintenance activities, and production data for reporting purposes.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Physical Fitness: Demonstrate physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating wheel loaders and maintaining aggregate crushing plants.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using mobile equipment and plant machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Capability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.

Work Environment:

  • The role involves working in both indoor and outdoor settings, including industrial environments.
