Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the general accounting activities of the plant and for providing the CEO with financial reports; statistics, assessments and information which will ensure planning and budgeting activities meet the company goals.
Job Description
  • - Responsible for all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, Payroll as well as managing a small team of direct report(s)
  • - Responsible for collection and preparation of financial and accounting information/reporting and the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports.
  • - Prepare financial statement audits and tax compliance reporting.
  • - Maintain expense control, costing, audits, administration of contracts, insurance arrangements and property administration.
  • - Assists in inventory control by monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, leads the annual physical inventory.
  • - Management of fixed assets.
  • - Other duties and activities as assigned by CEO.
Qualifications
  • Training, Knowledge and Experience:
  • 1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting.
  • 2. Proven and successful track record working in a similar role either within the automotive industry or manufacturing company.
  • 3. Minimum of 5+ years experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 4. Thorough and current knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
  • 5. Experience with review and preparation of financial statements; payroll and sales tax filings and requirements
  • 6. Experience managing and developing staff
  • 7. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals and audiences.
  • Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
  • 1. Ability to work additional hours when required.
  • 2. Ability to travel (including air travel and automobile trips).
  • 3. Valid Drivers License.
