We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Dallas, Texas.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diligently observe patients.
  • Accurately document patients' medical histories and symptoms.
  • Contribute to the development of patient care plans and enhance existing ones.
  • Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment as necessary for patient care.
  • Diagnose health issues and create personalized care plans.
  • Administer medications and other treatments following established protocols.
  • Monitor patients' health progress and modify treatment plans when needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and maintain open communication with families.
  • Educate patients and families on preventive measures, illness management, and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments based on individual patient needs.
  • Facilitate smooth patient transitions within healthcare settings.
  • Monitor and oversee the start-up status of clinics.
  • Provide coverage to additional clinic locations as required.
What we're expecting from you:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing/Physician Assistant Program.
  • Current Registered PA Licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certification in adult primary care or family practice.
  • Current Medicare provider enrollment with an active PTAN number.
  • Current TX Medicaid provider enrollment with an active TPI number.
  • Hold a current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Possess a provider card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Current DEA License, or ability to obtain DEA license upon hire.
  • Experience in geriatric care is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Athena EMR is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
