Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting surgical operations by preparing and maintaining an organized operating room
- Ensuring sterile environments and adhering strictly to infection control practices
- Assisting surgeons by handing over instruments and essential supplies
- Preparing and operating surgical tools throughout the procedure
- Overseeing inventory and ensuring all necessary items are ready for surgeries
- Collaborating with nursing, anesthetic, and surgical teams for optimum patient care
- Keeping accurate records of surgical counts and maintaining documentation
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential must be obtained
- BLS certification (or the ability to procure it within 90 days of hire)
- Thorough understanding of surgical instruments and protocols across various specialties
