Your Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various domains such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
- Interpret test results for accuracy, identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory analysis when necessary.
- Document all procedures meticulously, onboard new team members, and support the maintenance of lab standards.
- Ensure your work environment is clean and safe, complying with all necessary regulatory and accreditation demands.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health discipline, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate efficiently with healthcare teams.
