Primary Purpose:
Perform and coordinate a wide variety of sophisticated administrative duties that supports an individual or a business unit. Direct and respond to incoming inquires.
What you'll do:
- Use PC to prepare correspondence, statements, and reports with some direction, for supervisor's signature
- Responsible for standard office procedures, sort, prioritize and distribute mail, order supplies, and answer phones
- Capture, compile and maintain data, files, record systems
- Order office or operating supplies for multiple sites/departments.
- Responsible for locally based accounts payable
- Greet visitors to the facility and direct them to an individual, office or waiting area appropriately.
- Receive and place telephone calls, greet callers, prioritize and handle/forward messages
- May coordinate personnel issues and act as lead in office.
- Special projects as assigned
- Coordinates with a variety of customers, both internal and external. Develop sound understanding of priorities and follow through with minimum supervision.
- Exercise judgment with shifting priorities. Demonstrate initiative and independent judgement in non-routine matters.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including strong skills in English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Strong customer service skills and experience with problem resolution
- Self-motivated
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with all levels of personnel
- Good analytical skills, detail oriented
- PC skills and knowledge of various software, including SAP and Microsoft Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Five years minimum administrative support experience preferred
