What you'll do

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the recruitment efforts.
  • Responsible for the administration of all stages of the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to employee onboarding, changes, separations and updates.
  • Build positive relationships with all employees (current & future), regardless of position within the company with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Assist in coordinating screening & interviews, create candidate profiles and assist in streamlining recruitment and onboarding procedures.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, from offer letters to initial orientations to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Assist with maintaining employee data in RAIR to ensure safety compliance.
  • Manage onboarding processes from start to finish, including DOT related items, and other compliance requirements.
  • Assist with employee relations issues.
  • Prepare and post job requisitions.
  • Provide regular updates to managers regarding new hire status.

What you'll need
  • 2 years of experience in human resources, recruitment or a related area.
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practices for recruiting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be organized and able to work independently.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with all teams.
  • Ability to travel to sites for possible new hire orientations.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Recruit and train new employees.
