Organization: Unified Vailsburg Services Organization (UVSO)

UVSO is seeking a highly organized and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Palm Street Daycare. This role is pivotal in creating a warm, safe, and efficient environment for our children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary receptionist, managing all front-desk duties including phones, emails, mail, and greeting visitors.

  • Maintain and organize confidential student records, track attendance, and manage school data systems.

  • Support day-to-day operations, including inventory management, submitting facility work orders, and assisting with school events.

  • Process requests for classroom materials, track orders, and manage instructional resource storage.

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Associate Director and faculty, including scheduling, document preparation, and professional development coordination.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • Minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.

    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.

    • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

    • A strong commitment to the mission and values of UVSO.

  • Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s degree.

    • Fluency in Spanish.
