Job Description
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to align budgets and expectations.
  • Research and maintain updated knowledge of market trends and material costs.
  • Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
  • Track project changes and update cost projections accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Estimator should have:
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial, or tilt-up construction projects is ideal.
  • 1-3 years of estimating or related construction experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimating software.
  • Close proximity to Corona.
