AppleOne has partnered with a privately owned general contractor to help them hire a Chief Estimator to lead their Estimating team.

This is a key leadership role managing the entire estimating function for concrete and masonry projects, including strategy, accuracy, and people development.

What Youll Do
  • Lead the Estimating Department and mentor a team of 6 Junior Estimators
  • Oversee all concrete and masonry estimates, from plan review through bid submission
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
  • Review plans and project documents using Bluebeam and other software
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Drive process improvements and best practices
  • Present bid proposals and ensure competitiveness and profitability
What Were Looking For
  • 10+ years estimating experience in concrete and/or masonry
  • Strong plan reading and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience leading or supervising a team
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam or digital takeoff tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong financial awareness
