Job Responsibilities
  • Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored occupational therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional milestones.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to support patients as they develop motor skills, cognitive abilities, and competence in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver integrated, holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Offer valuable insights and guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic practices that foster sustained progress at home.
  • Track Progress and Adjust Strategies: Monitor patient outcomes and refine treatment approaches as needed to ensure their success.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
Licensure
  • Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • Mandatory NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
