This Engineering position is available at various levels: Entry-level, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer. Salary ranges include:
- Entry Level: $85,000
- Mid Level: $90,000-$110,000
- Senior Level: $117,000-$143,000
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations. This position serves as a resource and technical authority, making significant technical decisions. A strong understanding of functional discipline and its practical applications, as well as knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations, is essential.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver deep technical expertise to create, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and projects.
- Offer technical guidance and consultation as a subject matter expert to diagnose and resolve equipment and system challenges.
- Lead engineering initiatives with accountability for both short-term and long-term goals pertaining to site operations.
- Carry out engineering tasks assigned by supervisors using sound engineering principles.
- Ensure the accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of work, while maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design standards, procedures, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, evaluations, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Recommend new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify processes, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with changing regulations.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as directed by management, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and support during outages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Entry Level E01 Engineer – New Graduate:
B.S. in Engineering - Mid-level E02 Engineer:
B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of Nuclear or related engineering experience - Senior E03 Engineer:
B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience

- Professional Engineer Registration
