Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensively assess patients across all age groups utilizing both standardized assessments and clinical observation.
  • Craft tailored treatment approaches that address individual goals, whether they are short-term achievements or long-term communication improvements.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting voice, fluency, communication, and swallowing issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, to develop unified care plans.
  • Engage patients and family members with informative guidance to encourage therapy progress beyond sessions.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation that meets all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry advancements through continuing education and collaboration with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet certified by ASHA.
Licenses and Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based interventions for individuals of all ages, along with a comprehensive grasp of both developmental and acquired communication disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate connections with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to tailor therapeutic strategies to diverse cultural and linguistic populations.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable navigating electronic documentation and adhering to standards.
