SSM Health Dean Medical Group is seeking a Child Neurologist
Join a thriving multi-specialty group with over 500 physicians dedicated to providing exceptional care in a collaborative environment.
- Be part of a team that includes 1 dedicated Pediatric Neurologist, 6 Adult Neurologists, and 5 Advanced Practitioners specializing in headache and ADHD management.
- Experience a diverse practice that includes both outpatient and inpatient neurology, with a focus on a Level III NICU.
- Enjoy a 4-day work week with opportunities for community outreach 1-2 days per month.
- Manage phone calls only—pediatric inpatient care is handled by UW Pediatric Hospitalists and Family Practice Residents.
- Engage in teaching residents and clinic staff to foster the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Our Neurology Department encompasses various subspecialties and is equipped with accredited EMG/NCS and EEG laboratories, providing cutting-edge services to a broad patient demographic.
At SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, we support long-term monitored EEG studies as needed, serving an extensive 18-county area with a population of 1.3 million people.
The Hospital:
- SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital is a 440-bed tertiary care and referral center, recognized among the nation's 100 Top Hospitals in 2018 by IBM Watson Health for exceptional clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Our NICU, the first Level III unit in Wisconsin, provides specialized care for critically ill newborns, supported by a team of six neonatologists and specialized nurses, caring for approximately 490 infants annually.
