The Engineering Analyst Electrical (Wiring/Physical Design) role is based out of our Byron Clean Energy facility in Byron, IL.

Please note: This Analyst role can be filled at either the Mid-level or Senior level. Below are the qualifications for each level.

• Expected salary range:
• Mid-level: $86,000 - $106,000
• Senior Level: $110,000 - $124,000

Salary ranges are annual and based on experience, along with a detailed benefits package including bonuses and 401K contributions.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position is responsible for advanced technical problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations. The Engineering Analyst will make critical technical decisions, possess deep knowledge within their functional discipline, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement various engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
• Deliver expert consultation and actively participate in identifying and solving equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering tasks either partially or fully.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintain proper configuration management, and adhere to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support regulatory and technical projects.
• Suggest equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material defects, or comply with evolving codes and regulations.
• Perform any other job assignments and duties as directed by management, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage support in roles outside the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 2+ years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
• Associate's degree in a technical field and 3+ years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of relevant nuclear experience.
• Solid understanding of engineering processes and systems relevant to the specific functional area.
• Must maintain access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, along with favorable medical examinations and/or testing as per job duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E03

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 5+ years of nuclear or related industry experience.
• Associate's degree in a technical field and 7+ years of nuclear or related industry experience.
• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of nuclear or related experience, with at least 5 years at an exempt level.

• In-depth understanding of engineering processes and systems relevant to the specific functional area.
• Must maintain access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, along with favorable medical examinations and/or testing as per job duties.
