Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000, adjusted based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Oversee and manage the engineering functions ensuring accountability and alignment with both station needs and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the engineering function for station requirements and compliance with regulations.
- Manage and develop assigned engineering personnel, prioritizing high-quality outcomes in line with site and corporate objectives.
- Provide technical leadership for programs affecting site operations, directly and through subordinate teams.
- Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and performance reviews concerning assigned staff.
- Act as a senior resource for company-wide engineering programs aimed at system and process improvements.
- Fulfill additional job duties as directed by management, including Emergency Response, department coverage, and outage support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science, or a Professional Engineer License, or an Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of related engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a nuclear power plant environment.
- Must meet additional criteria as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard regarding personnel qualifications for Nuclear Power Plants.
- Must maintain unescorted access requirements as applicable, along with a favorable medical examination in accordance with job duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
