Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee and monitor external bank accounts and intercompany accounts, ensuring robust accounting records and controls.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers along with subsidiary ledger accounts.
  • Prepare departmental documentation for our bank-wide general ledger certification program.
  • Generate financial statements and reports used for regulatory compliance.
  • Initiate wire transfers on behalf of business partners.
  • Keep procedure documentation up to date as needed.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff regarding current and new processes.
  • Engage in collateral monitoring functions and undertake additional duties as assigned.
  • Act as a deputy for the manager in their absence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of banking experience and/or financial accounting activities.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working on Fedline.
  • Familiarity with general ledger and intercompany account management.
  • Experience with wire transfer initiation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with automation and macros is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of General Ledger accounting, reporting, and analysis principles.
  • Ability to identify, resolve, and escalate complex issues with minimal guidance.

This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring in-office attendance for 3 or more days per week, with the opportunity to work remotely for the remaining days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location; the actual range may vary depending on the job location. In addition to a competitive salary, U.S. Bank offers an extensive benefits package, including incentive programs, equity stock purchase options, 401(k) contributions, and pension plans (all benefits subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $86,530.00 - $101,800.00.
