Job Title: Oracle Fusion ERP Principal Business Analyst
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary Range: $160,000 (permanent role, full-time)
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Principal Business Analyst to join a growing ERP team. This senior-level position is responsible for defining, gathering, and implementing business requirements across core functional areas such as Order to Cash, Finance, Distribution & Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, and Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate combines strong functional ERP expertise with business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 8 years of ERP implementation experience, including requirements gathering, configuration, functional specification, and testing
- Proven expertise with Oracle Fusion ERP (required)
- Strong knowledge of Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Manufacturing, and/or Financial processes
- Demonstrated experience in ERP rollouts, business process re-engineering, user training, and ongoing system support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to technical teams and executive leadership
- Strong project planning and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience in the CPG or Foodservice industry
- Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience
- Deep understanding of the systems development life cycle, structured analysis, and testing methodologies
- Motivational leadership style with the ability to mentor and guide ERP analysts and functional consultants
- Lead and mentor the ERP Business Analyst team and functional consultants in analyzing, designing, testing, and deploying business requirements
- Collaborate with business teams to implement and enhance ERP processes across multiple functional areas
- Act as liaison between functional and technical resources, translating requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to executive leadership
- Provide hands-on problem solving, guidance, and support for ERP-related issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, functional specifications, and system objectives
- Ensure ERP solutions align with business needs and industry best practices
