This Position reports to:
Sales Specialist Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is: {hybrid}
This role is contributing to the ELDS in Zhejiang Region. Main stakeholders are PSB & Residential & Renewable.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- 1. Volume and profit
- Sells systems and solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix andprofitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- 2. Customer relations
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understandcustomer needs, promote customer understanding of full systems and solutions offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experiencethroughout the sales process.
- 3. Sales plans
- Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews andproposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- 4. Sales
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successfuloutcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective salestechniques. Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy(delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
- 5. Marketing
- Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- 6. New market opportunities
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in thedesignated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Identify digital sales opportunities and promote digital solutions to customers.
- 7. Administration
- Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collectionand project management activities when needed.
- 8. Offer preparation
- Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or theMarketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects ofoffers, including prices and trading conditions, as well as product portfolio anddigital solutions;
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor or master degree, at least 3 years' experience and with qualification or relevant successful experience in related industries;
- Strong sales competency with digital capability & knowhow;
- Passionate & strong learning agility on following the latest information;
