Contract Length: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Pay: 60-65 an hr on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Contract Compliance Lead to design, implement, and oversee a new Contract Compliance function within Procurement and Sourcing Enablement. This role is responsible for engineering a scalable process ensuring purchase orders (POs) are systematically linked to contracts, enhancing operational efficiency, compliance, and visibility across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Procurement, Contract Management, and Enabling Capabilities teams to build integrated solutions that streamline sourcing activities, reduce manual intervention, and strengthen audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design & Implementation

  • Lead the creation and rollout of a new contract compliance framework leveraging SAP Ariba.
    • Ensure all POs are accurately tied to contracts, improving traceability and reducing manual work.
    • Define and document end-to-end workflows across sourcing, contracting, and procurement.
SAP Ariba Expertise
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Ariba Contracts, Sourcing (Upstream), and Buying & Invoicing (Downstream) modules.
    • Configure, test, and optimize Ariba functionalities to support contract compliance goals.
    • Collaborate with IT and integration teams to maintain seamless system connectivity and data flow.
Supplier Master Management
  • Design and maintain a Supplier Master Data structure that supports sourcing strategies and contract hierarchies.
    • Ensure supplier records remain clean, accurate, and aligned with contractual obligations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal business and technical teams to align compliance initiatives with sourcing objectives.
    • Act as a liaison between procurement operations and technology functions.
Reporting & Monitoring
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and compliance reports to track performance, efficiency, and supplier adherence.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent through consulting, training, military experience, or education.
    • Proven track record implementing and leading SAP Ariba contract compliance processes.
    • Strong understanding of SAP Ariba Contracts, Sourcing, and Buying & Invoicing modules.
    • Experience designing and supporting Supplier Master Data structures.
    • Deep knowledge of sourcing, contracting, and procurement processes in complex environments.
    • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and process design skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption, support operations, and deliver measurable results.
Preferred Skills
  • Background in large-scale Procurement Transformation or Sourcing Enablement initiatives.
    • Experience with compliance reporting, KPI development, and audit preparation.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex processes.
