Job Title: Manufacturing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Assistant to support various areas of manufacturing based on daily project demands. This role involves preparing and setting materials for welders, assembling products, and conducting operational testing.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare materials for welding personnel.

• Ensure product meets design intent during assembly.

• Cut, drill, and set materials in place.

• Move project components using team lifts, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

• Assemble products according to assembly drawings.

• Conduct setup and operational testing.

Essential Skills

• Experience with pneumatic tools, hand tools, and power tools.

• Ability to read blueprints and BOMs.

• General labor skills.

• Forklift operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and BOMs to pull the correct materials for welders and fabricators.

• Ability to assemble units once parts are made.

• Experience in moving and kitting products throughout the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Forks, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
