We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team at a fast-paced entertainment company. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle AP experience, with a understanding of the procure-to-pay process, and proficiency with Sage Intacct. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments, while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including:
- Receiving, sorting, and verifying incoming invoices and expense reports for proper coding, authorization, and supporting documentation.
- Entering invoices accurately into the accounting system, Sage Intacct, ensuring proper General Ledger (GL) coding and project/department allocation.
- Processing various payment types (ACH, wire transfers, checks) in a timely manner.
- Performing weekly payment runs and distributing payments as required.
- Reconcile vendor statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and manage vendor communication professionally.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures, including preparing AP accruals, reconciling the AP sub-ledger to the GL, and analyzing AP-related accounts.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including updating contact information, payment preferences, and collecting necessary documentation like W-9s and Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Ensure compliance with 1099 reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., Production, Marketing) to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve AP processes and drive efficiency, particularly within Sage Intacct.
