Join a busy manufacturing team in Minneapolis, MN, as a punch press setup operator If you have experience with setting up punch presses, enjoy working hands-on with machinery, and take pride in producing high-quality work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $24 - $28/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Duties of the punch press setup operator:
  • Read blueprints and set up punch presses with appropriate tooling and dies
  • Monitor presses during production runs and perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate production logs and reports
  • Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
Requirements of the punch press setup operator:
  • 3 years of experience setting up and operating metal stamping punch presses
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of measurement devices and quality inspection standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the entire shift
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
