Job Title: Data and Reporting Analyst

Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote, Local candidates preferred)
Duration: 6-Year Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Data and Reporting Analysts to support the State of California's data reporting and analysis efforts. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing data analysis, creating dashboards, and responding to ad-hoc reporting requests. You will also work on developing and enforcing data exchange standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret data to generate reports and dashboards.
  • Support creation and maintenance of data analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data exchange standards and policies are implemented and adhered to.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver timely insights.
  • Enforce best practices in data management and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, including dashboards.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with data exchange standards and policy enforcement.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering-related field.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with ITIL processes and practices.
  • Current certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
