POSITION SUMMARY

The Area Business Development Manager is the liaison and face of the Atlas brand in all existing and future physician partner practices. The position will engage all current physician partners and all clinical/administrative staff directly to help strengthen the partnership between Atlas and physicians, in order to generate organic growth from existing physician partners. The position will be responsible for retaining and growing all the current business in a defined territory of ASC locations.This position is for a detail oriented representative thrilled with identifying efficiencies and opportunities for growth within our existing customer portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Works across and collaborates with multiple stakeholders including internal operations and clinical staff, development team, physicians and their respective teams, payer representatives, and all Banner employees to articulate the Atlas vision and create value.
    • Evaluates the current customer base and develops strategic growth plans for operational ASC's in partnership with ASC CEO's and physician owners.
    • Records sales calls and logs activity in CRM (Salesforce)
    • Possess strong organizational skills including creating and self-managing a detailed dashboard charting a plan by customer to drive organic volume growth.
    • Engages all aspects of the customers practice in order to optimize the relationship with the ASC.
    • B2B physician marketing to increase network alignment between our partners and the ASC's. Acts as liaison between BMG and BHN PCP's offices and aligned ASC specialists.
    • Networks with medical device, imaging, diagnostic and all other healthcare sales representatives to identify new leads and growth opportunities.
    • Maintaining the highest integrity, trust, and accountability in dealings with the Medical Community as a whole
    • Analyzes physician practices and builds economic models for decision making on profitability
    • Provides detailed feedback and delivers customized improvement plans based on physician needs for continuous process improvement both at the ASC and corporate process levels.
    • Any other activities deemed necessary for business and customer service by the Vice President of Business Development.
    • Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
    • Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leadership behaviors each and every day.
SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY
Must be comfortable working remotely and independently with limited supervision. This is field based position. Must be comfortable with making multiple sales calls on a daily basis and executing a plan to achieve revenue growth goals. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with executives, physicians and clinical team members.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORS

This is a field-based position as the primary role is to engage with customers in their place of work. Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.
    • May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Requires extensive driving and a reliable vehicle (reimbursement plan included).
    • Requires significant use of personal computer, phone and general office equipment.
    • Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.
    • May require periodic overnight travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated Track record of success in a direct healthcare sales role. Knowledge of Service Lines/Specialties, with relationships usually formed over 2 years of prior experience in a similar role
    • Strong Communication, complaint/conflict resolution, objection handling experience
    • Ability to rapidly identify issues and deliver solutions for customers independently
    • Comfort with working in a Fast-Paced environment where creativity, ideas and hard work yield results
    • Strong Strategic Business Planning
    • Experience and comfort with EXCEL, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft suite applications
    • Enjoyment from learning rapidly and immediate implementation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred.
