We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to design, develop, and install advanced electrical control and automation systems within the security industry. In this dynamic role, you will take charge of the delivery of security systems, with support from your manager, ensuring projects meet targets while interfacing directly with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hardware and software system design for standard projects.
  • Create and manage project schedules effectively.
  • Facilitate communication among customers, subcontractors, and internal resources.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of systems is maintained.
  • Provide training on implemented control systems when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and uphold new and existing control systems for clients.
  • Coordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive budgets across assigned projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and standards in all work.
  • Participate in hands-on fieldwork during implementation.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 4 years of experience in control system engineering.
  • Knowledgeable in Allen-Bradley, Omron, or other PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with Wonderware Intouch or similar HMI software.
  • Competent in Ethernet networking.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Creative problem-solving abilities for unique applications.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a hands-on setting.
