Information System Security Engineer

Basic Qualifications: Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What Youll Experience:

• Ensure systems comply with ICD 503 and DoD JSIG requirements.
• Manage security accreditation of networks and systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for external connections (ISAs, ATOs, IATTs, MOAs, MOUs).
• Conduct security testing of system patches, software, and configurations.
• Develop and enforce security policies with Program Office and Government guidance.
• Conduct security assessments for system upgrades and patches.
• Generate and update A&A documentation and artifacts.
• Perform vulnerability scans and continuous monitoring.
• Provide first-level incident reporting and evaluate IAVM reports.
• Interface with the customer Information System Security Manager.
• Offer cybersecurity input to Project and Program Managers.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification at the time of hire: e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security.

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range: USD $121,363.00 - USD $134,638.00 /Yr.
