Assembly Technician I

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be part of the production support team, supporting high-quality electronic and mechanical product assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician I

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay Range: $19-$21/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products according to written specifications
  • Crate and package finished products for shipment
  • Use blueprints and design sketches to verify dimensions and tolerance levels
  • Select and operate a variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
  • Work under general supervision and support continuous improvement initiatives

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to support team efforts and adapt to a manufacturing environment
