Assembly Technician I

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be part of the production support team, supporting high-quality electronic and mechanical product assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Technician I
Location: North Kingstown, RI
Pay Range: $19-$21/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift
What's the Job?
- Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products according to written specifications
- Crate and package finished products for shipment
- Use blueprints and design sketches to verify dimensions and tolerance levels
- Select and operate a variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
- Work under general supervision and support continuous improvement initiatives
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to support team efforts and adapt to a manufacturing environment
