Interim Revenue Accounting Manager

Our client, a high-growth AI infrastructure company, is seeking an Interim Revenue Accounting Manager to help establish and scale its revenue accounting function during a period of rapid expansion.

The position is fully remote. This engagement has an expected duration of 2 months and the potential to extend or convert to a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Own revenue accounting processes under ASC 606 for hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
• Manage complex revenue arrangements, including usage-based pricing and multi-element contracts.
• Build scalable revenue accounting processes and implement automation to support growth.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Product teams on contract review and revenue treatment.
• Prepare revenue analytics and reporting for management and investor purposes.

Requirements:

• 7 years of progressive revenue accounting experience in technology or high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with complex revenue models (usage-based, revenue sharing, multi-element).
• Strong ERP systems experience (NetSuite preferred).
• CPA or equivalent technical accounting background.
