Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - $80/hr - Gurnee Area, IL - Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to perform student evaluations and provide therapy services in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician's orders. This role involves working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Gurnee Area, IL

  • Start Date: January 5, 2026

  • End Date: End of School Year

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

  • Duration: 22 weeks

  • Pay Rate: $80/hr

  • Modality: In-person

  • Openings: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop therapy plans

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services

  • Document services accurately and timely

  • Collaborate with school staff to support student needs

Requirements:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards

  • Current CPR (if applicable)

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Caseload: 40-60 students
