Outpatient Therapist - DBT IOP

Location: High Focus Centers - Northeast Philadelphia, PA

High Focus Centers has a longstanding reputation for providing high-quality outpatient treatment across southeastern Pennsylvania through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. Our individualized treatment plans make us an invaluable resource for adults and adolescents struggling with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

We are currently seeking an Outpatient Therapist to facilitate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups and provide exceptional care to our clients. Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM or 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Flexible schedule on Fridays
Compensation:
  • $50,000 - $55,000 (dependent on experience, education, and licensure)
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate DBT skills groups as part of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for clients struggling with emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using DBT-informed interventions.
  • Provide psychoeducation and coaching on DBT principles to support client progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Communicate and coordinate treatment with referral sources, families, and external providers.
  • Maintain a minimum average of 25 billable sessions per week while fulfilling program needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing DBT training as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, or a related discipline) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in facilitating DBT skills groups or providing DBT-informed therapy.
  • Familiarity with IOP models of care and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Licensure (preferred but not required): LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or CADC/CAADC.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred.
