Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team where you will play a critical role in the production and assembly process. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment using small hand tools and light power tools to construct sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products, as well as performing packaging tasks and operating production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools.

• Perform out-box packaging processes efficiently.

• Operate production equipment such as flat wash and presses.

• Maintain high-quality standards and ensure accountability for the quality of products assembled.

• Keep workstations and departments clean, neat, and orderly following 6S standards.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred, but not required.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions.

• Effective communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent experience in a fast-paced environment within the last 18 months.

• Minimum of one year experience utilizing hand or power tools.

• Ability to stand for at least ten hours per day.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial manufacturing setting where safety and quality are prioritized. The workforce consists of 350 individuals, working in teams of 15-25. The factory experiences temperature fluctuations, being warm in summer and cool in winter. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toe footwear. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $22.00/hr.
