As a Telecom Partner Account Manager, you will play a key role in powering systems that require the highest security, safety, and reliability. Engage with our telecom partners to foster long-term relationships, drive growth, and position Wind River as a premier provider of intelligent edge solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage long-term strategic relationships with assigned telecom partners.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify business opportunities and accelerate the adoption of Open RAN, 5G, and edge technologies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, understanding their challenges and strategic priorities.
  • Lead account teams across various functions to deliver aligned strategies and outcomes.
  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives, from opportunity identification to contract closure.
  • Manage the technical aspects of partner engagements, including solution design and technical issue resolution.
  • Enhance Wind River's presence at industry forums and events.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on account progress and pipeline growth.

Your Network:

  • Strategic Telecom partners, including hardware and software providers.
  • Cross-functional teams within Wind River.
  • Senior executives and C-level stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Global sales colleagues to align best practices across regions.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in telecom sales or partner management.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom and 5G ecosystems, including virtualization, containers, NFV, SDN, and Open RAN.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate large-scale agreements.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical and commercial dialogues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
