Medical Assistant - Chestnut Hill, MA

Overview
• Facility Setting: Urgent Care
• Shift: 10H Days

Requirements
• License: MA
• Certs: BLS
• Experience: Must have ED and Urgent Care experience
• Compliance: Must have Epic experience
• Locals: Accepted

Responsibilities
• Performs a variety of patient care duties including EKGs, vital signs, wound care, and assisting patients in activities of daily living.
• Assists providers in the delivery of care and assists patients with physical and psychological limitations.
• Performs phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point of care lab testing according to lab protocols and quality control standards.
• Communicates results to the appropriate staff and documents results in the medical record in a timely manner.
• Maintains supply inventory needed to maintain daily operations.
• Completes regular rounding on all patients following department process.

Notes
• Must provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission.
• All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission.
