Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment, applying aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for various procedures.
  • Assist surgeons by anticipating their needs and providing necessary instruments and supplies during operations.
  • Set up the operating room, ensuring all equipment is functional and available.
  • Transport patients and manage patient positioning duties while following safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the growth and development principles of the patients being served, adjusting care accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • No prior experience required; we welcome recent graduates

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, and perform various physical activities frequently.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
