SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Mammography Technologist where your skills in customer service and communication will help obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role is essential in providing excellent care and support in our radiology department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mammography: Perform diagnostic, screening, ultrasound, and interventional mammography procedures; assist with daily quality assurance activities; continuously monitor image quality to meet high standards.
  • General Maintenance: Ensure equipment is functioning properly; maintain cleanliness and preparedness of examination rooms daily.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and patient charts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology in Applied Science or equivalent.
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and complete licensure within six months of employment.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various software applications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

EDUCATION:

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

$29.25 - $42.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
