Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Assemble bill-of-material items.
  • Count product to ensure correct quantity.
  • Inspect and test product as required.
  • Box or bag products as required.
  • Affix labels to product.
  • Ensure completeness of paperwork.
  • Forward completed orders to shipping department.
  • Discuss errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues.
  • Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
  • Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Job Requirements
  • Interact daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information.
  • Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
  • Receive predetermined assignments subject to moderate level of control and review.
  • Normally receive detailed instructions on all work and work under close supervision.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Qualifications

Typically requires no previous related experience. Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
