Your Role: As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing our cutting-edge fleet management system for autonomous industrial vehicles. You'll play a pivotal role in creating a scalable SaaS platform that enables real-time control and monitoring of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of our cloud-based fleet management system.
• Collaborate with tech leads to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in technologies like Python, Go, or Java for backend, and React, Redux, and TypeScript for frontend.
• Assist in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and real-time data pipelines.
• Optimize database schemas and manage queries for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Contribute to geospatial data processing and advanced mapping features.
• Engage in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to your peers.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full stack.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Continuously improve our development processes and tooling.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Expertise in backend development with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
• Proficient in frontend development using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.
• Experienced in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledgeable in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and message queuing systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills.
• Approach work with a low-ego, team-centric attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WebSocket implementations.
• Familiarity with mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox) and geospatial data handling.
• Knowledge of IoT platforms or autonomous systems.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Performance optimization expertise for backend and frontend systems.
• Familiarity with time-series databases for handling sensor data.

Compensation: $141,000 - $155,000 CAD per year (contract position). Our USD equivalent range is $101,882 to $112,118.
