We are looking for a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of over 15 pharmacists in delivering outstanding patient care while driving operational excellence.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, mentor pharmacy staff, and maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and service throughout all fulfillment activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership & Development

• Encourage a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on patient-centric care.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor pharmacists for professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations while providing constructive feedback and coaching.

Patient Care & Service Excellence

• Uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and medication safety.
• Enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through quality service delivery.
• Educate our technician and clerk teams on pharmacy standards and quality.

Operational Management

• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Execute process improvements to streamline workflow and minimize operational waste.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Work with leadership to align pharmacy operations with broader organizational objectives.
• Analyze data to guide decision-making and foster continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives designed to improve service delivery, cost management, and clinical outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Active or eligible pharmacist license in good standing with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
• 5+ years of pharmacy practice experience.
• 2+ years of team management experience in a clinical, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency in Excel (medium to advanced formulas and pivot tables).
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven enhancements.
• Strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and achieving organizational goals.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems, inventory management systems, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma Certification/Training.
• Database management experience (SQL).

Compensation is based on various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Along with your salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $170,000 annually for full-time employment.
